Thinking Thin

When I say thinking thin I am referring to the mind set that is the opposite of thinking you are fat. The only reason people get fat is because they think they will get fat and then the universe provides them with all the choices to get fat and that is what they choose to do. Everything in life comes down to a choice we each have to make. This is especially the case with overeating and becoming overweight. There is always the choice to head in the other direction and start thinking thin instead of thinking fat.

Some people have a bigger structure than others and those people will generally have a bigger frame than those with a small frame. We can’t do much about our body structure but people with a big frame do not have to be fat. The same thing goes for genetics, if your parents are fat it definitely does not mean you will be fat, since you always have a choice. Fat people think fat and then their body simply follows their thoughts. The body always follows the mind in all of life’s circumstances. For those who are thinking thin, their bodies follow the same train of thought and subsequently they are physically thin.

If you are overweight and have had trouble losing the weight and wondered why diets don’t work, it is not the diet that is not working it is your mind and your habitual thoughts that are letting you down. However, you can change all this in a heartbeat by changing your subconscious mind and thinking thin. Just like you can open up the refrigerator and choose to grab a piece of chocolate cake or an apple, you can choose to think fat and you can choose to think thin.

When I was in school I was a generally skinny Australian kid but I wanted to be big and muscular since I believed that would boost my confidence. I went to America on a holiday while I was still in school and while I was there I got a picture of my head superimposed onto Arnold Schwarzenegger’s body and put that picture on my bedroom wall when I got back home from my holiday in America. A funny thing started to happen the more I looked at that picture. The picture was near my bed and was the first thing I saw when I woke up and the last thing I saw before I went to bed. I did not know it at the time but I was drowning my subconscious mind with the image of me being this giant muscular guy.

Fast forward 5 years and at 22 years old I was a 250 pound bodybuilder. Sure I worked out a lot and ate an insane volume of food but my intuition tells me that the universe brought me all the choices I had to make to become that big bodybuilder and be the confident person I saw when I looked at that picture of me in Arnold’s body. I became what I thought about and have stuck with the bodybuilding lifestyle throughout my life to this day and the confidence problems disappeared along with the body I wanted to change all those years ago.

Creative visualization is a powerful tool that many successful people follow to get where they want to be and this is a way to help you start thinking thin. To avoid thinking fat and begin thinking thin there really is not all that much more you need to do. You do not have to start some crazy diet that probably will not work you just need to keep thinking thin and the universe will present the right choices and it is then up to you to follow those choices or synchronicities when they present themselves.

Find the ideal body in a magazine and paste a proportionate size picture of your own face on that body and carry it around with you. Copy the picture and put it next to your bed so it is the first thing you see when you wake up and the last thing you see before you fall asleep. This can only help you to start thinking thin and avoid the old habit of thinking fat.

The more time you spend thinking thin the less time you will spend thinking fat and as this new thought impregnates your subconscious mind the opportunities will arrive in your life to follow to a new thin you. Just like you are what you eat, you are what you think about. What you think about is always your choice.
