Problems Create Inspiration and Motivation
May 11th, 2007If we went through life without ever encountering any problems we would probably not only become complacent but life would get pretty boring. Nobody wants to encounter a problem but it is by running into problems that create inspiration and motivation to solve the problem and improve the quality of life. A problem forces you to be creative and look at other avenues, options or strategies to move ahead that you may not have thought about if you never encountered the problem in the first place.
We have all heard the old saying, negative people face problems and positive people face opportunities, it might sound a little corny but it is definitely true. In my own life I have seen in hindsight how coming across what seemed like a major problem or hurdle at the time has lead me to wonderful awakenings within me that has helped me become a better person and allow me accept dealing with problems in my stride instead of worry about them like I once did.
Dealing with problems is not an insurmountable task although it might not seem like that at first. Continuing advancements in every field of science could not have happened for us to have reached the point we are at today if it was not for constantly dealing with problems and challenges presenting themselves through time. Problems keep us motivated when we would otherwise fall prey to laziness and by trying to figure out how to solve problems we find inspiration as we work towards solutions for problems. This is exactly why it’s always best to look at a problem for what it really is, a challenge, a problem in every instance is an opportunity for a worthwhile and important challenge. By overcoming problems we not only improve our external environment but we grow internally as well.
The key to tackling a new challenge effectively is to let the challenge go, release any attachment you feel to the challenge and let the universe guide you when you trust that a solution will appear. The longer you persist in feeling that you must find the answer to this challenge the harder it will be to see the correct path to take. It can be difficult to let go of something that is a great challenge or what seems to be worrying you but when you can let go, the answer will appear. It’s not magic, it’s just the way the universe works. When you let go and trust in the universe you will be guided to take the right steps at the right time. The universe will show you the way by giving you signs and be open to how these signs might appear in your life, sometimes the signs arrive in the strangest and most abstract of ways.
One of the greatest things that can come about when encountering problems is it forces you to wake up to what is around you and as you work towards solutions to your problems you expand your consciousness to new levels of awareness. There is no such thing as security in life as much as you may hope or wish that there is, life is constantly changing and evolving and so must you. It is through change that we grow and growth is the true purpose of our very existence. How much and to what degree you change is entirely up to you. Some people find embracing change easy and live extraordinary lives that push the boundaries of what we believe is possible. Some people fight change and as a result they never allow themselves the freedom to grow and this often leads to unhappiness and eventual frustration.
If you can learn to look at a problem as a challenge and even get excited about it you will experience so much more freedom in your life and that freedom feeling will help you in promptly working through solutions to problems with ease. The answer to a problem always lies within the problem, all you have to do is step back from it and you will be presented with the solution. Let go and trust in the universe and it will never let you down.
