Near Death Experiences
October 23rd, 2007To this day the scientific community still cannot prove that near death experiences actually happen. However, the evidence from near death experience researchers and individuals who have had the experience is overwhelming and tells in graphic detail how individuals not only died but were sent back to their life in their physical body on earth by some type of light or energy beings residing in the afterlife. If this all sounds like hocus pocus or a bit hard to swallow, read on and you might find this article quite interesting to say the least.
A near death experience is when someone is clinically dead, has no heart beat what so ever and there are no electrical impulses coming from the brain yet they some how, like a miracle, return to life. Near death experiences have been recorded regularly for hundreds of years and the documentation over the centuries has shown that most experiences are remarkably similar. The fact that the majority of people who have a near death experience report seeing similar things while they are dead is the reason why there seems to be a measure of truth to this strange phenomenon.
Literally hundreds of thousands of reports from all over the globe for centuries now have told of people seeing themselves in a number of similar, out of this world, circumstances. Such reports include individuals floating above their dead physical body, walking towards a light brighter than any light that they had ever seen on earth yet the light did not hurt their eyes. Many near death experiencers have reported seeing dead friends or family members guiding them along a path towards the brilliant light. Some recall meeting with luminous bodies who seem to be angels and are there to help them in this weird transition period.
On many occasions people have told stories of being given information on how their future will turn out if they continue on their current and often destructive path yet are told by beings of light or angels that it is not yet their time and are sent back to their life on earth. One moment they are in some type of cosmic place or perhaps heaven and in the next moment they are back in their physical body regaining consciousness. Many reports have come from people who have been on the operating table and have died. They have seen from outside their body, the doctors working frantically to bring them back to life yet they feel totally calm and relaxed. Other reports tell of people overwhelmed by the situation as they witness their dead physical body but as they move toward the light, they feel they are guided by a loving force, in fact love is the emotion almost all people who have a near death experiences seem to recall when they are back in the physical bodies and breathing again.
Some who have experienced this afterlife event have recalled spiritual beings telling them it is not their time to die since they still have more lessons to learn in the physical reality of earth life and are almost thrust back to life in the twinkling of an eye. There are just far too many reports throughout history that tell the exact same story time and time again about the near death experience. Of course not all stories are the same as there are different circumstances but through so many stories there is a central theme so undeniably similar it is difficult to dismiss these near death experiences as mere hallucinations. Actually there is now proof that this is not just an hallucination.
When someone is hallucinating, an electroencephalogram EEG can pick up electrical brain impulses yet on too many occasions to mention, the EEG has depicted no brain activity at all and the patient has been pronounced dead, yet they have come back to life and reported their near death experience to family, friends and their doctors who are amazed and bewildered when they magically return to life.
No one has any hard proof that near death experiences actually occur but the evidence reported by those who have been through the experience and from countless doctors from around the world who have witnessed dead people return to life is hard to dismiss. I guess you are either a believer or not but I must say it makes me wonder just what is out there once we die. I am definitely not in a hurry to die but perhaps death might not be the end at all and not as frightening as most of us think it to be.

An interesting subject and something that I believe happens to many people, perhaps more than is documented due to those who never mention their experience for fear of ridicule. However, I’ve heard that alot of people say that they never expeienced anything at all after they were brought back to life by doctors as a result of an acciedent/drowning/heart attack etc. Remember Kerry Packers statement years ago when he suffered a heart attack?
Anyway, no-one really knows what happens after death if they have never experienced it. Only those who have gone through the experience can really know if it’s true.
