Lessons from Berlin Germany

The experience for me of being in
On top of learning so much history about Germany and especially Berlin, I realized the greater lesson here for me was, just how important freedom is and just how fortunate I am to be free. I suppose most of us take freedom for granted and I guess why shouldn’t we, it is the right of every person on the planet to be free.
Although not everyone on this planet enjoys freedom, I believe freedom from tyranny and oppression will win in the end. The law of life for as long as the earth has existed is growth. Politicians, corrupt and undemocratic governments and powerful people with dark agendas may try to forcibly attempt to restrict our growth but it will not, it cannot last. We are, you are, destined to be free.
So what is the lesson we can all take away from the Berlin Wall story? The lesson is simply about freedom and the choices we all have. We should never try to make someone do what, deep down, they just do not want to do. If something goes against a persons true nature or deeper beliefs, why force them to do it? Nothing good can ever come from this, only the creation of more pain and fear. Fear mongering in the long run does not work, it does not work with children and it definitely will not work with adults. Restricting a persons growth and therefore their freedom can only lead to suffering for both parties, it is a lose lose situation and a recipe for disaster. Freedom is our ultimate goal, just let it happen.
