Law of Tenfold Return
December 10th, 2006You may have heard about the law of tenfold return and been skeptical about the process as I was but I can tell you from my own experience the law of tenfold return works. The law of tenfold return works on one principle and one principle alone, faith. Without faith it will never work, it’s no different to anything else you want to achieve in your life, without a measure of faith in yourself and your abilities you will never reach your goals. However, with faith in the process of the law of tenfold return it can be a real turning point in your life financially. When I found out John D. Rockefeller was a practitioner of the law of tenfold return I decided to look into it a bit deeper.
For me, understanding and believing in the law of tenfold return came quite naturally once I grasped the concept. Although I am not from a religious family my mother and grandmother always said to me while I was growing up, what you give is what you’ll get and more. If you are kind to people even more kindness will come back to you and the same goes if you are hurtful to others, only more hurt will come your way. Both my mother and grandmother made it perfectly clear that although what you give may not come back from those you gave it to, make no mistake about it, it will definitely come back from somewhere or someone eventually. So as a kid I tried to do the right thing by others or as often as possible anyway and I guess the general idea of what you give is what you get back has just stayed with me. The law of tenfold return is basically the same concept.
The principle of the law of tenfold return works on the same principle as energy, when you release energy whether it be a thought, a word or an action, this energy goes out into the universe and gathers more energy and since all energy travels in circles, it eventually comes back to you magnified ten times more powerful than when we released it, hence, the tenfold return.
When you believe in the principle of the law of tenfold return it works for whatever it is you give, be it love, help, money and everything else and it works every time. Having faith in this concept is all it takes for the tenfold return to come back to you. It requires no scientific knowledge and no skill only faith and it is through faith that it always works in the same way gravity always works on earth.
It has also been referred to as seed money. Just like you plant a tiny seed in the ground, over time that seed germinates as it is bombarded with energy from the nutrients in the soil, water and eventually with sunlight energy it can grow into a gigantic tree much bigger than the original seed. In applying the law of tenfold return it is best to look at doing it in the same fashion you would plant a seed. If for example you give $1 to a charity, you should give it from the heart and say to your self, I give this money with love and I receive tenfold in return and then say thank you and then think no more about it. Just as when you plant a seed in the soil, you plant it and think no more about it, nature takes care of the rest. When you plant your seed money, the universe will take care of the rest. I say thank you to the universe after planting my money as I believe since the universe is helping me it is only the right thing to do. Whenever somebody helps you, you should always have the good manners to say thank you and when you do, it comes back to the old concept of what you give is what you get, so when you thank others they will only be too happy to help again.
If you think practicing the law of tenfold return is not spiritual then you may be only looking at it from your own point of view and only seeing your self as benefiting from the exercise and from this standpoint I don’t think it will work for you and would suggest you don’t try it. However, if you look at it from the perspective of helping others less fortunate and then getting your tenfold return at some stage in the future and being able to continue the process by continuing to give then I think you will enjoy practicing this universal law.
I could give you many examples of how this law has worked for me in the past but this is a perfect example of how it works, that happened quite recently. I was walking through the city a couple of months ago heading to the computer shop to buy a new laptop and as I was walking towards a slightly raised bridge over a narrow canal I could see somebody holding a cup in their mouth. There are a lot of beggars on the streets in the city I live in but I had never recalled someone holding a cup in their mouth before. As I approached I quickly realized why he was holding the cup in his mouth, he had no arms and only one leg. I often give the beggars some money especially the handicapped ones but this guy I decided to give a little extra to and I then I continued on to the computer shop around the corner. I had been to this computer complex the week before and visited many computer shops in the complex and all of them had the new model I wanted to buy at the same price so it didn’t matter so much where I bought it from. I had a friend with me and he suggested why not check out the biggest computer shop in the complex which was on the sixth and top floor. I had never before gone to the top floor as all the other floors had the same stock and were all about the same price but decided to go up to the top anyway as it was the biggest computer shop in the complex and I thought maybe I would get better and faster warranty service if I had a problem than I would from one of the smaller shops. So getting to the point, I went up to the top floor and saw that they had the model I wanted with a tax exemption, no other shop in the complex was offering this tax exemption and the money I saved was exactly 10 times what I had given to the beggar on the street less than an hour before. I didn’t even realize it at the time but when I got home and was playing around with my new computer I was thinking how glad I was that I went to the top floor and got the tax exemption that no one else was offering. It was then that it dawned on me that I had given the beggar that money just before I arrived at the shop.
Of course the law of tenfold return usually doesn’t work that fast all the time but I think on that occasion I was in such a good mood and looking forward to getting my new laptop, I gave that seed money away lovingly to someone I definitely felt deserved it, I released the money without any attachment and because I was so happy my vibration level was very high and the universe responded immediately with my tenfold return. If you give your money, your time or your help away begrudgingly and in an ungracious fashion you will seriously impede the time it takes to receive your tenfold return, that is, if you even get it at all. So don’t give it if it doesn’t feel right, only give it when it makes you feel good and when it makes you feel good you will get those good feelings come back again when you see your return. You can always trust in your own feelings, they will never let you down. Let your feelings be an indicator as to when it is the right time to give and when it feels right you can confidently expect to see your tenfold return soon. Don’t give up if you don’t see your return immediately and give it at least 30 days to manifest. Also be on the lookout for when it arrives as sometimes it may come from the strangest of places or people.

That is 100% guaranteed. You may not believe me but due to the law of cause and effect, what you have done sends a type of energy out into the universe and comes back to you tenfold due to the law of tenfold return. However much grief your theft has caused the people you stole from, this much grief multiplied tenfold will come back to you. You could say this is your karma coming back to you and the reason why you can’t cheat the universe. So for this example, what you should do in this situation is close the door you knocked on and walk away. […]

Years ago, and before cell phone were popular in Maine I was traveling with my administrative assistant when I saw a car, in a very rural area, broken down with the hood up. The driver looked dismayed. I pulled across the road to see if I could help him.
Although I am not a mechanic I knew at a minimum I could offer him a ride to a repair shop. Turned out he just needed a jump start and within minutes we were on our way again.
A couple of months later I visited a friend in Jacksonville, NC. I was gone a week. It rained back in Maine where my car was parked at the airport that entire week. My old Volvo really seem to soak it up. But it started up and ran well enough until I got on that very same rural road but 30 miles south of home. The car cut out at about midnight and I was stranded.
Walking along the dark road with suitcase in hand I hitch-hiked but there were few cars. Who would want to pick someone up at that time of night anyway. Worse, this was rural Maine in October. Wild aminals abound in Maine, including wild dogs and bear. I remember it was quite scary.
After an hour someone pulled over and offered a ride to within 13 miles of my house. However, he wanted to pull into a convenience store first to buy something to drink. Along the way we chatted until we both discovered that this was the very same man I helped months ago.
He drove me right to my door and I walked less than 10 feet into my own place that night. This is the law of ten fold return. Exactly when I needed it.
