Is It Worth Complaining?
November 19th, 2006Have you ever noticed that the people who are always complaining always feel they have something to complain about? They are constantly complaining about anything and everything. If something they have been complaining about gets rectified they then begin to complain about how they are not satisfied with the way it was fixed, when it was fixed or by whom it should have been fixed by. When they give up on complaining about one thing, it is only a matter of time till they start complaining about something or someone else. I know people like this but I tend to give them a very wide berth.
When somebody complains they usually do it with at least a little bit of emotion or in some cases a lot. The more emotion you put into something the more of your own energy you give it and by doing this you activate the law of attraction with a powerful force. Your emotions are an extremely powerful force. The more emotion you put into anything you do the quicker you will manifest what it is you intend. If you complain with a passion, due to the nature of the universe we live in and the law of attraction, you get more of the energy you put out into the universe reflecting right back to you. This is unavoidable no matter what type of energy or intentions you emit. Unfortunately most people are completely oblivious to their own power. They think by complaining they will get resolve from that which they are complaining about but what they are really doing is forcing the universe to send them more situations, events and people to complain about.
You are totally responsible for every event and every person who enters your reality through your habitual thinking. If you keep thinking injustices keep coming your way, they most definitely will and the more you complain about it the worse it will get. What you need to do to break the cycle is to change your thoughts and feelings to that which you want as opposed to what you don’t want. If you keep thinking about what you don’t want you will get more of it, this is because you get whatever it is you think about, wanted or unwanted.
The principle is simple but putting it into practice can be difficult as you may be required to break some very old habits of negative thinking. Affirmations and creative visualization are a couple of effective ways to help break the negative thought cycle. This website contains information on both and how to implement them into your life.
What inspired me to write this particular article was something I noticed while at the supermarket last week and again this morning. I was in line at the grocery counter last week waiting to be served when a man ahead of the woman I was standing in line behind started to abruptly complain to the young girl behind the checkout counter about being overcharged for a particular item. He was getting quite irate and causing a scene in the supermarket but what made me take notice was just before he walked out, after he had been refunded his overcharge was what he said to the lady standing in front of me. He said “this always happens to me here”. I remember thinking to myself at the time, I bet this happens to him everywhere he goes not just here after what I heard him say to the lady in front of me. Skip forward a week to this morning, I was about to walk into the same supermarket when I heard a man screaming at a taxi driver out the front of the shop and when I turned around to have a look, have a guess who it was? You guessed it. It was the same guy complaining again. If only he knew about the law of attraction. When he is ready, probably after a lot of unsatisfied complaining, the answers will eventually come to him.
So what I’m getting at is whether you feel justified to complain or not, you are responsible for all of your circumstances, good or bad. If you do find yourself about to complain about anything at all, perhaps think again and when you have the ability to refrain you will find over time you will have less and less to complain about.
