How To Find Your Ideal Partner

November 7th, 2006

How to find your ideal partner or someone that you like and someone who likes or loves you just as much in return is a problem many people face. It can be for some people, who are otherwise successful in most other areas of their life, the biggest challenge they face. Over time, not having a partner or feeling like you have no prospect of finding someone can make your entire life seem hollow and cause you a great deal of anguish and unhappiness. It doesn’t need to be this way and with a simple adjustment in your mindset, you may see a result regarding how to find your ideal partner a lot sooner than you think.

The biggest hurdle when considering how to find your ideal partner is a lack of confidence or on the other end of the scale some people put in too much effort. Let me talk about each one of those two reasons individually and you will see how they are linked. Firstly a lack of confidence stems from a belief that you are not worthy enough to find your ideal partner, approach a certain person or a belief that if you do approach them they will reject you. Secondly, by trying too hard you are effectively pushing away the very thing you desire. People can intuitively tell when someone is trying too hard and this is an immediate turn off. If you come across as overly needy in the beginning, you will appear desperate and both of you will ultimately feel uncomfortable. So when you do approach someone with a lack of confidence, your low feelings of self worth manifest in the form of desperation and you effectively end up trying too hard and then what you believed would happen, does happen and you get rejected. It is from this very point you need to change your belief pattern and then you will see the results you want.

If you think finding your ideal partner is all about luck and they will just arrive in your life when the time is right, well maybe they will. However, if you want to get in control of the situation and meet someone sooner rather than later the answers lie in an understanding of your subconscious mind. Your subconscious mind works according to the law of belief. The moment you believe something to be true, your subconscious will immediately begin to execute that which you believe and bring in every resource necessary to get the job done in the shortest possible time, this includes how to find your ideal partner. This is why when you finally change what you believe, things can often change literally overnight. Understanding and accepting how this mind process works will give you a new level of confidence.

It doesn’t matter if you are old, fat, skinny, bald, poor, white, black or green, it only matters what you believe and until you change that belief that you are not attractive or worthy enough, you will not attract a mate. When you do change your mind and know that you are worthy you won’t even need to go out of your way in regards to how to find your ideal partner, as they will come to you. Your own true feelings of self worth are enough to attract others who feel the same way about themselves. People who are confident and belief in themselves are attracted to confident people. From the study of energy by physicists, like is attracted to like.

The key to transforming your mindset from negative to positive is avoiding the self sabotage with old thoughts like “I’m not good enough”. That is nothing but a thought in your mind and you have the power to change your thoughts. You are good enough and all it takes is a firm belief in yourself. Have a look around and see what type of partner it is you realistically want. If you are eighty years old and want a twenty year old model for a girlfriend although I think this would be unlikely, you need to believe in the fact that someone like that will want you the same way you want them and if you cannot believe that, you need to change what you want to something you can believe. If you are a single mother who has lost her confidence and feels alone, it’s time to look at what it is you have to offer and believe in your self worth and when you can do this, the right person will most definitely appear in your life.

I don’t want to appear to be heartless as I know how miserable and depressing it can be to be alone but it is up to you to stop feeling sorry for yourself which will only make the process of figuring out how to find your ideal partner that much more difficult and start by changing the way you feel about yourself. You could start by writing down a list of all the things you like about yourself and what you have to offer someone and then write down what you don’t like about yourself and start working on changing those negative traits into positives. Remember also that the type of person you are on the inside is the type of person who you will attract from the outside. If you appear to be a nice person but on the inside you are cruel and a cheater, you better change those things about yourself otherwise that is exactly the type of person you will attract. This is due to the fact that everybody gives off a certain vibration and people with similar vibrations are attracted to each other. You may notice this when you meet someone for the first time and you instantly like them, this is because you both emit a similar vibration. Likewise when you meet someone and you instantly feel a dislike towards them, you obviously have quite a different rate of vibration. Please read my article on the Law of Vibration for a better understanding of this.

As you begin to believe in yourself and your mind starts to accept the idea, new opportunities to meet people will appear in your life. Keep an eye out for these moments and take action when these opportunities present themselves. If you see someone you like and they notice you, just a simple smile could be a great first step. The key to transformation in any area of your life is not to give up, with persistence you will see the results you want and finding your ideal partner will be inevitable. Amazing things happen when you believe.
